Featured Student: Nicholas Livingston

Nicholas Livingston is a Psychology major and a Human Development minor with a certificate in Coaching.  Here’s what he had to say about his college career so far:

When do you plan on graduating? May 18th, 2019

Why did you major in Psychology? I chose a major in Psychology because I was very interested in social interactions, culture, the brain, and all of those areas affect people.

What are your plans for after graduation? I plan to attend a UW school to earn a master’s degree in School Psychology

What academic experience or accomplishment are you most proud of? The academic experience I am most proud of is my time as a Psychology and Human Development Student Success Center intern. I was an honored to be one of the first interns for the Psychology and Human Development Student Success Center. It was very rewarding to make a positive influence in the lives of multiple students through peer-advising, plan important events to promote the Psychology and Human Development departments, schedule educational speakers to provide students with important learning opportunities, and be the co-author of a study that examined the relationship between student involvement, academic achievement, and satisfaction.

What single thing do you hope to accomplish at UWGB before graduating? The single thing I hope to accomplish at UWGB is to make is to continue to make a positive influence in the lives of as many individuals at UWGB as possible.

What do you do for fun? For fun, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, any kind of sports, going to concerts, and cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks!

What else do you want people to know about you? Fun fact: I’ve swam with sharks and I’ve been kissed on the cheek by a Sea Lion.
