Common CAHSS 2021: The Changing Landscape in US Higher Education and the Decline of Male Student Enrollment and the Impact on Inclusivity with Dr. Melvin Arthur Johnson was recorded live Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

The educational landscape in the United States is changing. Fewer people going to colleges and universities now. But coupled with that decline, another change or challenge is the rapidly declining number of males entering and graduating from colleges in the US.

The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences for the third annual Common CAHSS Conference 2021 event themed “Truth, Information, Misinformation, and Democracy,” sought to explore the role of the modern university in supporting the “continual and fearless sifting and winnowing by which alone the truth can be found,” which has been part of the University of Wisconsin identity for over a century.

This Common CAHSS 2021: Truth talk was recorded in Fort Howard Hall in the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.
