She will present an overview of the UW Green Bay Libraries’ curated list of some of the best ready-to-use news, information, and media literacy curricula currently available. Her discussion will include strategies for infusing this content into your teaching, to help your students be more effective knowledge constructors, digital citizens, computational thinkers, and empowered learners.
The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences for the third annual Common CAHSS Conference 2021 event themed “Truth, Information, Misinformation, and Democracy,” sought to explore the role of the modern university in supporting the “continual and fearless sifting and winnowing by which alone the truth can be found,” which has been part of the University of Wisconsin identity for over a century.
