  1. I think this is a very unique study because we usually do not associate these two things. When people think about college athletes, they usually think about their journey of how they got to where they are and their success of where they are now. People usually do not think about the darker side of things and how much college athletes actually struggle with school, body image, and much more. I think this is something that needs to be normalized because it is a very serious issue that many are unaware of.

  2. This is such an awesome research topic. Many times people do not associate athletes with eating disorders or their symptoms as they are often depicted as people who eat a lot but burn it all off in training and games, keeping them healthy. Being able to predict the possibility of an athlete experiencing eating disorder symptoms would be extremely helpful. I loved the study!

  3. This is such a great topic because this has been around for centuries. When pressured to keep being or striving to be the best, can take a hardship on the athletes, so it is no surprise that they face body image issues and are then having eating disorders to get their desired body. I was surprised however to see how many athletes suffer from eating disorders.

  4. Awesome work Elena!! Love this!! Such an important topic - I’m glad you did this study! Very interesting that athletes are more at risk of eating-disorders and that you have some significant results. Way to go!!
